MDR will not sell or adopt out an animal to anyone under the age of 18 and may
request age verification via driver's license or valid photo ID with DOB.

In the event that an individual who purchased or adopted an animal from us

PAYMENTS: Payment for sale or shipping can be made via Paypal or personal
check. If a personal check is used, the animal(s) will not be shipped or exchanged
until said check has cleared the bank (typically within 10 business days). No
animals will be sent without payment.

SHIPPING: Shipping is available for reptiles only and is dependent on time of year
and weather conditions. MDR will not ship reptiles when weather conditions at
departing or arriving site are lower than 50 degrees or higher than 85 degrees.
MDR is not yet certified to ship live snakes via FedEx and UPS does not allow the
shipping of snakes. We can ship live non-snake reptiles via FedEx or UPS but will
only ship overnight. Absolutely no 2nd day or ground shipping of live animals will be
attempted. We can also provide delivery to local reptile shows (MD and certain
areas of VA and PA) if arranged in advance.

LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEE: Live arrival is guaranteed for all shipped reptiles. In
order for this guarantee to be upheld, an adult must be present to sign on the first
delivery attempt, and the arrival time of the shipment must be within 24 hours of the
shipment being sent off. Photo evidence may be required to prove DOA status.

ADOPTION: Animals being offered for adoption that were not produced by MDR
will require the completion of an adoption application prior to sale. We may also
require phone interviews of potential adoption applicants in order to ensure
appropriate placement of adoptive animals. We encourage "adoptive parents" to
contact us in the weeks after the adoption with any questions or issues that may
have arisen.

LEGALITY OF OWNERSHIP: It is the responsibility of the buyer or "adoptive
parent" to ensure that the animal is legal to own in their area. Please check with
